Chartered Architects and Design is an independent practice led by Behzad Jahan, working across residential, commercial and cultural projects. We believe architecture begins with careful observation — of site, climate, daylight and the rituals of the people who will live inside it.
Every project starts with a walk, a sketch and a long conversation, before any line is committed to paper. We work at the edge of architecture and interior — drawing siting, structure and material in the same breath, so the finished building feels inevitable rather than assembled. Honest materials, quiet details and a preference for things that age well.
